Bmodelled — derived through an assumption, plausible, not independently validated here.
Cindicative — a proxy for ranking and anomaly spotting, never an absolute statement.
red → sand → blue — empty → half → full; red is always the poor end of a scale, blue or green the good one.
hollow — not observed. Not empty, not zero, not normal.
a break in a line — a gap in the archive, drawn as one.
Water year — October to September, named by the October it starts in. Maha is the monsoon season, Yala the irrigated one.
